Lunar New Year

Happy Chinese New Year!
Today also marks my 5th monthsary with the girl who's a friend.

Last night was quite interesting. We decided to have a little cook out. We cooked some pork ribs, corn on the cob and green beans over at fish boy Ryan's place. While we were waiting for the ribs to cook we decided to hang around the fire pit he had in his backyard. Mallorie and Ryan decided to get drunk and steal wood from the neighbors. We had a good time just burning all that wood. I ended up smelling like smoke but it was worthed. The view of the dock from his backyard was really cool and peaceful. After eating all that food Ryan decided to head over to ruby tuesdays to get more drunk. We sat around for a bit at the bar where Margie the bartender decided to give me tonic water, by accident, but gross. I just wanted water since I'm really trying to cut back on the alcohol. All that alcohol mix drinks is making me fatter and its time I start my crash diet before the spring season arrives. So after an interesting conversation with Mallorie's best friend and a surprise call from Gaby we suddenly had a brilliant idea to head over to a strip bar on Bonney road in VA Beach called L.A.'s which consequently was the same strip bar that Ryan's ex Kat works at. I finally got to meet Kat which was nice after being myspace friends forever now and yet we havent met ever. It was my first time going to a strip bar so it was quite an experience. It was fun throwing dollar bills at the girls. So while we were there Mallorie decided to sit next to this guy and made friends with him. They then started making paper footballs out of the dollar bills and flicking them to the girls. How degrading right? As if those girls werent degraded enough. I mean those girls didnt look as bad as I thought they would to be honest. There were a couple of cute girls and Kat was one of them. Sadly I couldnt really understand anything we were talking about because she was talking too fast and too low for me to hear so I just smiled and nodded at everything she said. Overall it was a great time minus Ryan getting all emo on us so we had to call it a night by 11.30. which meant we only spent an hour at that place. I guess that was a good thing since Mallorie had to wake up for work at 5am this morning. Which puts us to right now... having coffee, reading news, chatting it up at the guild before I start my day.
